Last night the 2013 Billboard Awards took place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, home of the biggest boxing matches and most bedazzling shows. Stars lit up the red carpet in their most embellished and summery 2013 looks as they  made their grand entrance. Although the Billboard Awards are not typically as popular as the Grammy’s or VMA’s, last night’s festivities will surely change that perception.

From Tracy Morgan’s and Psy’s comical dance routine to Miguel adorning his love on top of an audience member’s head,  Lil Wayne receiving a lap dance from Nicki Minaj, followed by Madonna’s ‘unpretentious’ speech and Prince’s electrifying, show closing performance, the awards were more than just action packed.

The Awards left social media carrying on about the show itself as well as the hauteness on the red carpet. The ladies slayed on the carpet in some of the sexiest and most daring looks in fashion.

Lately, Taylor Swift has been showing her sexier side and has been playing with color opposed to nudes and whites that she is typically know to sport. Her electric blue embellished Zuhair Murad mini dress left heads turning. We just wish she would have turned up the volume with another shoe option.

Nicki Minaj showed a softer side in a bright red Roberto Cavalli gown and curly locks. Although shoe looked absolutely beautiful and polished, this look just wasn’t her.

Miley Cyrus completely stole the show in an embellished Balmain jumpsuit and the most perfect shade of red lipstick–a 90′s inspired and timeless look that complimented her new hair DO to perfection.

Jennifer Lopez looked sexy as usual in a golden Zuhair Murad gown with sheer detail. Although she looked absolutely stunning, we have seen this look on her many and more than enough times and would like to see more versatility.

Speaking of versatility, Madonna completely heated things up in a gothic-glam Givenchy look showing off her best assets. At nearly age 60, she surely put some younger attendees to shame.

Other attendees included Kelly Rowland in a silver Rami Al Ali Couture gown, Selena Gomez in a white Atelier Versace dress with neon detail, Alyssa Milano in an all white Emilio Pucci suit, Carly Rae Jepsen in Dyanthe dress with sheer cutouts, and Kesha in a daring Givenchy mini dress, which was crowned the MESS of the night.
