What do fancy traditional Japanese barbecue & Hong Kong have in common? Robatayaki! This is certainly the type of place that you go to once only to leave feeling like you have won the lottery afterwards. Robatayaki features an array of surf (including king crab legs, fresh cod, lobster and mussels) and turf (prime US sirloin and Kobe beef) as well as a splendid selection of vegetables and fresh sushi and sashimi. On my visit I had most divine serving of Kobe beef followed by some other delicacies that were still alive, mind you, but freshness is their benchmark and I had no complaints. So if you are ever in Hong Kong and are looking to eat while over looking the Kowloon waterfront, drop by Robatayaki for a laugh and fresh feeling of winning lotto ticket holder.
