THE ITALIAN TRADE COMMISSION PRESENTS A MONTH LONG SERIES OF SUMMER SHOPPING EVENTS AT ITALIAN BOUTIQUES AND RESTAURANTS THROUGHOUT THE CITY. SHOP ITALY NYC, promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development and organized by the the Italian Trade Commission, celebrates Italian quality and heritage during SHOP ITALY NYC; an exciting one month long series of consumer shopping events, restaurant experiences and promotions throughout Manhattan.
From June 15 to July 7, between 5 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday of each week, shoppers will experience all that the finest Italian retailers in Manhattan have to offer – June 15 and 16 in the Meatpacking District; June 22, 23, 29 and 30 on Madison Avenue; July 6 and 7 in SoHo. More than 50 leading Italian fashion, accessories and home décor retailers along with Italian restaurants will host a dynamic variety of in-store events, offering special deals, promotions and activities for New York shoppers.
Throughout the month-long promotion, each Wednesday and Thursday night from 5 p.m. shoppers can begin their night at Shop Italy NYC’s VIP Hospitality Tents located in the designated area: Meatpacking District at Gansevoort Square; Madison Avenue at Madison Avenue and SoHo at the corner of Spring and Greene Streets. At the tents, friends can meet up to enjoy complimentary Italian food and beverages. Shoppers will be able to pick up a map including information on participating retailer events in the area, as well as a VIP Shopper Card which will give them access to special promotions being offered. PIZZA ROMA and SERAFINA RESTAURANT will generously support SHOP ITALY VIP Hospitality Tents in Meatpacking, Madison Avenue and SoHo, serving complimentary food and beverages.
