Style Spotlight – Whitney Houston
On Saturday, February 11 the world lost one of the best singers of all time, Whitney Houston. The celebrated singer, actress, and model Whitney Houston will forever be remembered for her unmatched voice which brought her six Grammys, 22 American Music Awards and two Emmy Awards. She was only 48 when she died and her cause of death has yet to be determined as many hope and pray that drugs were not a factor, something the signer has struggled with in the past.
Her unmatched voice and sense of style will never be forgotten. When she made her musical debut in the 80′s, it was all about big hair, sequin, poofy skirts, shoulder pads, bright pink lips, loads of blush and stone-washed skinny jeans. Every woman who grew up listening to her music has wanted to be like Whitney, whether it be her hair, the spaghetti strap dresses, or the high note she hit on “The Bodyguard”. Her voice and fashion will forever live on, therefore we have out together a slideshow in remembrance of her. Our condolences go out to her family and may she rest in peace.
