Jimmy Choo Partners with Rob Pruitt for Cruise 2013
Jimmy Choo announced a collaboration with contemporary artist Rob Pruitt on a capsule collection for the Cruise 2013 Collection. The range of accessories will include shoes, handbags, and small leather goods all referencing the inimitable style of Pruitt’s art. The products are set to debut in Jimmy Choo boutiques and online in November 2012.
Pruitt has wielded his particular brand of iconoclastic wit and visual exuberance since he emerged on the New York art scene in the late ‘80s. From glittering panda bear paintings to sculptural blue jeans to a silvered Andy Warhol monument on public view, Pruitt is known for producing art that is both playful and profound.
