Chopard to Unveil Marilyn Monore Exhibit at Cannes

This year Chopard will celebrate its 15th anniversary of partnership with the Cannes Film Festival. To mark the occasion, Chopard will debut “Marilyn Forever”, an exhibit of 25 unpublished photos of Marilyn Monroe. The photos were taken by famed fashion photographer Milton H.Greene who regularly shot Monroe. As you may know, Monroe is the official figurehead of the 65th Cannes film festival as 2012 marks the fiftieth anniversary of her death. The never before seen prints will bring to life the starlet who was internationally recognized as a fashion icon.

To pay tribute to Monroe’s legendary love for diamonds, Chopard has commissioned a one-of-a-kind diamond necklace that will be unveiled at the festival.  The design is a cascade of heart-shaped, briolette-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds totaling over 200 carats. Additionally, the jewelry house created a matching set of earrings.
