HSN and Universal Pictures have partnered to create an innovative multi-channel shopping experience for the Snow White and the Huntsmen movie. Yesterday, The Fashion Reporter had the pleasure of attending their exclusive preview held at the very posh, Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City. The HSN event will take place on Wednesday, May 30th on all of their platforms including TV, HSN.com as well as HSN mobile so that you can click and tap away from your mobile devices. With the release of the movie set to hit theaters on June 1, 2012, HSN’s offerings of accessories, houseware items, and clothing inspired by the actual movie is guaranteed to be a big hit. Shoppers call look forward to a full range of stunning accessories consisting of rings, cuffs, bangles, chandelier earrings and statement necklaces. We were extremely fascinated with their coasters made from precious stones and chinaware that looked to good to eat from. Enchanted nails will certainly be the way to go with playful colors courtesy of Deborah Lippmann’s Snow White Nail set made specifically for this special collaboration. The clothing capsule collection was designed by the movie’s costume designer Colleen Atwoood who is best known for her remarkable work on Chicago, Alice in Wonderland, Memoirs of a Geisha and most recently, Dark Shadows. Key pieces from the collection including a top with spider wed arms as well as mini dress with beaded spider web prints were our faves and the best part is that they are all transferrable from day to night. HSN is certainly making shopping more convenient, more fashionable and most of all, more affordable. Pieces begin from the Snow White and the Huntsmen collection range from $29.95 – $299.95. With prices this low, we are sure sure items will go quickly so be sure to set you alarms and calendars for May 30, 2012 so that you can be the first to cash in.
