SCHEÉ SS 2013 Collection & Guiliana Statement Heel Unveiling
Last night, The Fashion Reporter produced the SCHEÉ shoes (pronounced SHE-AY) SS 2013 shoe unveiling to an audience of fashionistas, retail buyers and tastemakers in the world of entertainment inside The Bar at the luxurious Dream Hotel in midtown Manhattan. Tastemakers in attendance included E! Reality star, Brittany Smooch; talent agent and veteran Tony Girard of Stars Management; along with our favorite fashion bloggers and pretty faces in fashion.
Gorgeous fashion models walked around the venue carrying silver platters of the SS 2013 SCHEÉ collection while attendees “ewwww-ed and awwww-ed” all night long in a room filled with shoe lovers and men who had their checkbooks ready to pre-order their $2,100 Guiliana statement heel as gifts for their wives and lady-friends. Once the hors d’oeuvres were passed, and the Alacran tequila starting flowing, the party was officially ON! Waitresses kept party goers glasses overflowing with the incredibly smooth tequila who by the way, created a special pink bottle in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Their limited edition pink bottle features a white ribbon around the top that sat nicely next to the Guiliana statement heel adorned with Swarovski crystals. Alacran tequila is not only one of The Fashion Reporter’s favorite tequila brands and re-occuring partners, but they give back to several charities for various amazing causes and for BCA it was only right for them to come on-board.
Giving back was certainly the motto for last night and Caitlyn Hess gave a very special speech to let guests know Who SCHEÉ is! The brand provides innovative and luxurious footwear that helps and is inspired by numerous charitable causes throughout the world. With that said, they also unveiled their statement Guiliana heel which is handcrafted with Swarovski crystals in the shape of a ribbon in support of Breast Cancer Awareness as she encourages the soles of others to “Walk to Make a Difference”. Each signature collection is handcrafted in Italy, incorporating leather and exotic skins, hand-loomed silk satins, embroidery and Swarovski crystals, all brought together in unique constructions that reflect the season’s particular inspiration.
As the evening winded down, guests walked away with a quaint gift from Schee Shoes which contained ribbon shaped cufflinks for men, ribbon shaped embellished rings and pearl embellished ribbon charm bracelets for her handcrafted by Enovia Bedford for Accessory Remix (accessory remix.com) along with the most amazing all-natural bath and body products — pear almond bath soap & shea butter almond oil– by Duafe Naturals (www.duafenaturals.com).
