On June 6^th, the Einstein Emerging Leaders (EEL), a group of philanthropic New Yorkers in support of Albert Einstein’s College of Medicine, will hold their second annual Gala, debuting their new charitable campaign, My Einstein. To host the evening, EEL has tapped author and highly influential trendsetter, Leandra Medine, renowned for her smart, funny, and culturally on point fashion website, The Man Repeller. Proceeds from the event will go toward funding urgent needs of the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Harris Publications, in conjunction with Alize & Carol’s Daughter, presented the formal launch of JUICY Magazine Online. . The September 2011 print edition hits stands next week and features JUICY topics on Beyonce, Khloe Kardashian, and Rihanna along with a special tribute to Aaliyah.   After a year of print existence, JUICY Magazine Online is set to take the stage as the one stop location for all things: celebrity, life, hair and beauty.

The launch event was help in Union Square and was attended by fellow industry insiders and celebrities including Teyanna Taylor, Egypt, K Foxx as well as socialites including Memsor Kamarake (former fashion director for Vibe mag), Alexander Allen (celebrity image director),  and Atiba Newsome (celebrity stylist to name a few). Despite the warm overwhelmingly warm room temperature, guests were able to cool off with themed cocktails sponsored by Alize. We were totally pleased with the event and even more ecstatic about the gift bag which contained a No-Lye relaxer from Palmers with Olive Olive formula, Carol;’s Daughter hair serum, and Alize key chain, the current issue of JUICY magazine, ofcourse, along with various discount offers form their partners.
