For Fall’16 Frame Denim delivered sharper silhouettes with luxurious fabrics, impeccable fits and chic staples for the modern women’s closet. Colors are dark and deep consisting of black and navy mixed with jewel tones of green and burgundy. Velvet is more opulent and relaxed, and is fashioned in a classic tuxedo jacket, a bomber and cropped mini bootleg trouser.
FRAME Denim’s FW 2016 collection is inspired by the Sixties and Seventies, a time when women’s sense of style transcended the continents they travelled between, whose chic insouciance was equally at home in Paris or Manhattan
Bohemian inspired button-down blouses and the dramatic black wool cape along with leather, suede and corduroy, elevate their covetable separates in waistcoats, jackets and jeans. A black cracked patent leather A-line skirt is paired with a matching cropped jacket and the over-knee Le Stockings. Outerwear debuts in the long cashmere coat and navy wool peacoat.
The collection cannot be described in it’s entirety, it has to be seen, held and experienced, in real life. The brand has collaborated with Karlie Kloss and also Inez and Vinoodh and their collections are available from 1000 retailers around the world. FRAME will be opening their first store on Melrose Place in Los Angeles in Spring 2016, with a downtown New York store to follow.
