Laura Carmichael looked flawless as she arrived at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight. Laura’s simple-cut, black dress with a touch of color was complemented with youthful, texturized waves created by her hairstylist, Richard Collins using Bhave Hair. Carmichael, an English actress, most widely known for her role as Lady Edith Crawley in the TV period drama series Downton Abbey was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Here’s how hairstylist Richard Collins created Laura’s look using BHAVE haircare …
“Tonight I added some texture and edge to finalize Laura’s hair look that gave her extra glam! First I brushed my fingers through her blow-dried hair with Bhave’s Riot Control Oil to tame any frizz while adding sensational shine. Then, starting at the nape of Laura’s neck, using a one-inch curling iron, I created a deconstructed wave throughout her entire head. In order to create texture at the roots, I used Bhave Gunpowder Dust on each section, this is one of my favorite products to add sexy volume and texture. Finally, at the ends of the hair, I lightly crinkled Bhave’s flexing Styling Paste to finish the look.”
