NATURALLYCURLY PRESENTS TEXTURE ON THE RUNWAY POWERED BY SALLY BEAUTY


NaturallyCurly’s signature event, Texture On The Runway, marked its third appearance during NYFW on September 7th to celebrate Real Women, Real Fashion, Real Texture. Powered by international specialty retailer, Sally Beauty, the innovative runway show took over prestigious Gotham Hall in the heart of NY’s garment district.

Founder Michelle Breyer, hosted the event alongside professional hairstylist Monica Stevens of MoKnowsHair where more than 700 influencers, media and VIPs filled the venue to see top texture brands reveal their inspiring looks. “At Texture On The Runway, it’s all about the textured hair,” explains Michelle Breyer. “

“Although more brands and designers are embracing texture, traditionally Fashion Week has been a seasonal reminder for many women that their beauty is not the right kind of beauty. For years, NaturallyCurly has been working to change that conversation, and that is why we feel it’s so important for Texture On The Runway to take place at New York Fashion Week every year.
