AND THEN THERE WERE THE WORST DRESSED From The 2012 Met Gala.

Starting with Jessica Chastain in Louis Vuitton and Harry Winston. The gown would have made the most luxurious comforter and all she needed was a pillow! A gorgeous mint green dress would have served a more delicious dish on the carpet and would have brought out her best features, like her hair and eyes. A red lip would have been the cherry on top to compliment her gorgeous smile.

The most highly anticipated style events of all events took place last night  and the red carpet was on fire.  The 2012 Met Gala, which brings out entertainment industry’s finest, featured ferocious gowns, well coiffed hairdo’s and flawless beauty.  Stylists and designers pay even more attention to detail with wardrobe as they do with the Academy Awards when it comes to the Costume Institute’s Annual Ball  and last night showed why NY is one of the leading cities in fashion.  The fashion houses responsible for outfitting our favorite startlets from Beyonce, Rihanna, Le Michelle, Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara and the rest, even posed like models on the runway. Vera Wang, Tory Burch, Rachel Roy and Donna Karan could not have selected better gowns to represent their own respective brands.

Beyonce stunned in a sheer Givenchy couture gown at last night’s Met Gala and was accompanied by  Andre Leon Talley, Editor-at-Large for Vogue Magazine.  The dress showed off her best ass’ets, that’s for sure and for someone who just had a baby, she is certainly inspiring women might be afraid to lose their shape as a result of pregnancy. Her hair was perfectly slicked back into a ponytail which extended down her back, complimenting the circular dip on the reverse side of the dress. She wore no accessories, which was wise choice. Anything so much as earrings, could have taken away from this show-stopping gown. Did it ever matter what shoes she was wearing?
