The phone is everything you’ve ever dreamed of in a phone, from its amazing 8 megapixel camera, amplified sound quality, flexible LCD screen which allows you to view items both vertically and horizontally as well as its social media feature which allows you to connect with friends on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and more, all from just one tap.

It is quite the phone for the individual who seeks a device to match his or her lifestyle. The My Touch 4G Slide is perfect for runway shows for fashionistas to snap away at the latest trends with high resolution quality images or the music industry professional who prefers to hear the latest hits and talk on the phone, all  at the same time. The battery is just about average in its classification at 1520 mAh. What does this mean, I know? Basically, I was able to take pictures as if I were on a photo shoot all day, browse the web and make phone calls, all during an 8 hour period and still have on bar left,  so I was able to get a full days worth from it.

The MyTouch 4G Slide is the only touch phone I’ve owned that has endured Miami’s humidity, and yes, I was snapping away in the sand and caught some amazing pictures at sweltering temperatures with the rear 8MP camera AND it does a great job with dual-LED flash to help out if needed (see a few of the pics below). The phone also has a VGA front facing camera for those in need of some video chat, or you can throw away your compact since it is perfect for refreshing your make-up! As far as pre-loaded apps — It does come with quite a few things courtesy of T-Mobile, some of which came in very handy like the Navigation which helped me find my way back from Basking Ridge, NJ and the Flashlight feature which helped me find my keys that were buried in my purse, and Kidzone which kept my daughter quiet on the way home . Other than those you get Skype, Bejeweled 2, Netflix (Yes! It works great with the 4G network making the internet stream pretty smoothly).

The keyboard is a comfortable size and easy to use, and I can almost type as fast as I can swype these days (well… not really, but I’m learning). They have a great design for the keyboard by offering both options of a slide out Qwerty pad, or the on screen keyboard which make it ideal for people that don’t like touchscreen only phones, and want an actual hardware keyboard.
