Last night actors and artists arrived at the Teen Choice Awards held at Gibson Amphitheatre on August 7, 2011 in Universal City, California.

As we scoured the red carpet – the premiere place for the fashion inclined and the fashion blind – we encountered we saw an earth toned/nude trend from some of our favorite actresses adorned in nudes and yellows.

Fergie also wore yellow with black stars EVERYWHERE, to remind herself as well as the million viewers who were watching that she was still famous, and yes she is a star!

Tyra Banks took the all black catwoman fit route to remind us the she still has it, but does she?

TV personalities Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner showed the world  that the entire family is sizzling hot!

The best dressed undeniably goes to Rachel Bilson and Kim Kardashian.

Teens seem to be dressing sexier than ever nowadays including Lucy Hale and Alexa Vega.  Zoe Saldana did a great job at showing the girls how to strut your stuff without baring it all in this peasant styled dress paired with gold pumps. Plunging necklines aren’t the most appropriate for Teen Awards, however are more so expected of the Grammy’s and upcoming VMA’s.

Jennifer Lopez looked nothing short of amazing in a dazzling Emilio Pucci dress and spiked Christian Louboutin heels. The American Idol judge kept her tresses low key with straight layered locks.

LeAnn Rimes stood statuesque in a glittering gold gown by celebrity favorite Reem Acra. The veteran performer looked like Nashville royalty in the dress, which showcased her lovely, strong shoulders.

Keri Hilson always knows how to rock the red carpet. She wore a futuristic Basil Soda dress from the Fall 2010 Couture collection with gold zipper detailing. Keri completed her look with metallic gold strappy sandals.

Jennifer Hudson continues to keep our heads turning with her dramatic makeover. Showing off her stunning figure in a flowing Versace gown fitted at the bust, Ms. Hudson simply took our breath away.

Selena Gomez looked glamorous beyond her years in a slinky silver gown. Long cascading curls and a pop of pink lipstick completed her elegant look.

The Peoples Choice Awards took place last night at the Kodak Theathre is Los Angeles and lets just say that the carpet was full of fabulous ‘people’. Starlets from Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Raven Simone, Katy Walsh, Jennifer Finigan and the Kardashian Klan all graced the red carpet in unique looks. Although Louboutin seemed to be the shoe of ‘choice’, no one’s sense of style seemed to resemble the other. Interestingly enough, some stars opted for more formal attire which isn’t really typical for this type of award show. As the cameras flashed, celebs posed in their best and the ultimate question is “What designers are they wearing”?

Some looked HAUTE.
